Hello Everyone! 大家好。 It’s Matthew again with the Asia English Business Network! I hope you had a great  couple of weeks and are ready for another meeting this Friday, July 30th at 6:30.  The last meeting brought a impressive 75 people, and to all those that attended, thank you for making it a great event.  The split was great, 50% foreigner, and 50% Chinese, and everyone from pool suppliers, trading companies, factories, teachers, people looking for employment, and service companies were there.

For this Friday’s event, I am moving the back to the Shangri La, with a few improvement/changes!  As usual, Shangri La has graciously given us use their facilities, and as usual the meeting will open up at the Lobster Bar and Grill.  Be sure to enter from the main inside entrance of the lobster bar, and check in with the AEBN representative to get your drink tickets.  As usual, the meeting is FREE, but the only way it can stay free is if EVERYONE MUST purchases 2 discounted drinks at the door.   Your mandatory 2 drink tickets (50RMB to be paid when you enter the event) can be used to purchase the following.

• Tea
• Draft Beer
• Orange Juice
• Red Wine
• White Wine

(once you use your two promotional tickets, future drinks can be will be priced from the bar menu.)  

For this meeting, you will receive a AEBN hand stamp at the door, and you will be able to get your drinks from the inside main bar instead of from the outside bar.  The outdoor area will be available to us as usual, as well as inside lounge.  For the meeting itself, we will have the same elegant hall as the previous meeting.  After the networking and topic of discussion is finished, we will have a chance to go back to the lobster bar and socialize.

The topic of discussion at this meeting will be Staying Motivated, as well as Marketing techniques.  I want to unveil a new campaign at the meeting geared at helping us all grow our business and market to global clients.  You won’t want to miss it.  

I encourage you to bring products from your company to show to the other attendees, we will have ample room for you to set up.
